Vietnam (Dec.2012-Jan.2013): Most of these images were shot in Bat Trang, a pottery village located north of Hanoi. Walking up and down narrow alleyways, I peeked into doorways where families produced their wares and in many instances their living spaces and workshops merged. Most everything I saw was slip cast, and much of their market these days consists of giftware and some restaurant ware.
