This unique vessel has beautiful dark tones and shell prints on one side from the stacking process of the wood kiln. It was fired on the side, the shells separating it from the piece below. This one reminds me of a pelican (?!)

It is made from porcelain. I have been enjoying making these figurines by throwing pieces on the wheel, cutting them up and reassembling.
