This elegant hourglass shape is comfortable to hold. My wood fired pieces are fired in an anagama style wood burning kiln, resulting in dramatic surfaces from melted wood ash and flame impingement. Each piece is unique; the colors and textures are a result of placement in the kiln, heat, atmosphere and type of wood used to stoke the kiln.
