This medium sized moon jar has dramatic markings and natural, rich colors from the wood fire process. Melted wood ash and flame impingement contribute to the unique qualities of each piece. Placement in the kiln, heat, atmosphere and type of wood used to stoke the kiln all play a part in the outcome. Glazed on the inside, the vase is water tight.
