This  Cassole is the perfect size to hold one pound of beans plus various sausages, duck confit, veggies or whatever else you are adding to your cassoulet. My cassoulet bowls are made from sturdy red clay and are glazed on the inside with a food safe glaze. They can be used in a hot oven up to 400 degrees and are dishwasher and oven safe. Do not use on a stovetop, direct heat from one direction may cause breakage. 

As in all of my work, cassoulet bowls are made one at a time by hand, and small variations occur.
